The journey begins….
Like many of the baby boomers my thoughts are beginning to turn to retirement. What will that look like, how will it feel and where will I go from here? Many of us from “my generation” have spent most of our lives pursuing education, careers, raising our children and now helping aging parents.
I have been mulling this over in my mind for many, many months. I am getting a little giddy with the thoughts of what the future might bring. Almost as if embarking on leaving home and figuring out where my path will lead.
I hope you will come along with me on this journey. I hope to explore new hobbies, new places to go, potential retirement spots, and the beginning of my next chapter in life.

Way back in the day when I was still working a friend of my retired and I seen him a few months later and ask how he liked being retired, he looks at me and says, “It was really hard at first and it took me a long time to get use to it, ……. it took all most all of the first day!”

Thank you, i’ve been kind of our of touch on my blog but this COVID19 is allowing me to retire this year. I look forward to getting back to my blog and starting this new chapter. I enjoy your photos! Thank you for sharing.
