Inhabiting the body of a writer

Inhabit

This is my first week blogging.  I honestly cannot believe how happy it makes me to write.  My mind is always abuzz with random thoughts, my son categorizes this as ADHD.  Having a place to express myself is a relief and seems to combat my built up stress and anxiety.  When I feel too much joy or happiness, I tend to find excuses why I should not allow myself to do that thing.  When a book is so good I don’t want to read it too fast, I want to make it last.  When I am enjoying time in the afternoon sun, I worry that I am being wasteful with my day and should get busy doing something like laundry or some other tedious task.  Each day I write, I am allowing myself to inhabit the body of a writer.  It feels good.IMG_1122
